ADHD Coaching
I know firsthand how living with ADHD can sometimes be overwhelming, exhausting and at times, even debilitating, but I’m here to help you, every step of the way.

During ADHD coaching, I can offer you a listening ear, empathy and understanding, as well as tools and techniques to help you manage ADHD traits.

My aim is for you to learn to live a life that works for you, without shame or guilt, that focuses on your strengths and passions.

What is access to work?

The Access to Work Scheme is a UK government initiative that provides financial support to individuals who need extra assistance in the workplace due to a disability or health condition. The programme extends to support services like the ADHD coaching I offer.

The Access to Work Scheme is available to anyone who has a disability or long-term health condition that affects their ability to work. This includes people with neurodivergent conditions like ADHD.
To be eligible for the scheme, you must be over 16 years old, live and work in England, Scotland, or Wales, and be in paid employment (including self-employed) or about to start a job.

The amount of funding you receive will depend on your individual needs and circumstances. The scheme provides financial support for up to 100% of the cost of eligible accommodations and services, up to a maximum of £62,900 per year.

Please remember that there is no shame in applying for support to help you manage your condition. That’s why services like mine exist: to help you navigate the ADHD journey in all aspects of life.

Why did you become an ADHD coach?
I have been a Life Coach and Clinical Hypnotherapist for many years. At 46 years old I was diagnosed with ADHD. I quickly started to notice that some clients who came to see me about different aspects of their lives, either had a diagnosis of ADHD or were displaying traits. I found this really interesting, and being an ADHDer, I went down a rabbit hole trying to learn everything I could about it! I then completed my ADHD Coaching training as I felt this could complement the other services I offer and benefit clients, current and future.

What insights does your lived experience of ADHD offer?
I think my own experiences mean I totally get it. Not only can I empathise with my clients’ experiences and challenges, but I can also relate to them. I’ve put so many tools and techniques in place for myself before and since my diagnosis, that I understand how to recognise what works. I can then hand them over knowing they’re tried and tested, and I hope that gives my clients confidence. However, the main focus for me after my diagnosis was about coming to a place of self-awareness and acceptance. Of being able to be kind to myself and let go of the shame and guilt, I carried with me for years. This is my main goal for any clients I work with.

What resources can you offer to non-clients?
I’m really proud to run the Honestly ADHD group on Facebook for anyone to join, regardless of whether they are a client or not. It’s completely free of charge, offering supportive content and a safe space to network and ask questions either directly to me or to other members of the group, who are on their own ADHD journey. Being a member of this group also gives you access to free resources, plus discounts on all other resources and services I provide. On my website, you will find resources that can be purchased without the commitment of becoming a client.

What resources can you offer to clients?
If you decide to become a client, I offer a space to talk about your experience with ADHD and provide tools and techniques to help you manage your traits. This can include hypnosis, with each session being recorded so you can listen to it at home. In between sessions, I offer support via text or email whenever you need an extra helping hand.

What does hypnosis entail?
Hypnosis uses meditative techniques to relax the body so that you get into a sleepy, dreamlike state. When you’re in this state, the subconscious mind opens. This is where all your memories, habits, and beliefs are stored. During hypnosis, we can use the power of positive suggestion to make changes to how you think, feel, and behave.
